Price Match Guarantee - OSHA Approved Courses?
We offer a price match guarantee on any course. Here is what you need to know -
National Environmental Trainers® (NET) has successfully built its premium brand based on quality, credibility and sensational service. Unfortunately, in an effort to gain attention, a growing number of websites that offer classroom or online training are now advertising OSHA approved or OSHA accepted courses. The most effective weapon against this activity is to arm you with information that help you avoid being the victim of this tactic.
If a training company advertises their training course(s) as OSHA approved or accepted, ask to see their letter from OSHA. Some companies advertise their courses as being approved by OSHA. As stated in many OSHA interpretation letters, OSHA does not approve nor endorse training from any training provider. OSHA sets the regulatory requirement and parameters for training, and providers are expected to meet their requirements. The quality of courses being offered in the marketplace varies greatly, there are reputable companies with good competent training programs and then there are many lesser quality courses that do not meet the OSHA standards.
When training with us, you can be comfortable knowing that you are receiving quality training - OSHA has written a formal interpretation letter to us accepting our HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator® when used in conjunction with site-specific training which is always required for any HAZWOPER course, whether online or generic/public seminar classroom training.
Please note that OSHA does "authorize" training providers for both the OSHA Construction and General Industry courses e.g., OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 hour construction and general industry courses. But being authorized by OSHA to provide the 10 and 30 hour courses does not mean that their other courses have been "approved", e.g. HAZWOPER. Again, OSHA does not approve nor endorse any course from any training provider.
So there it is. We have a formal letter from OSHA accepting our HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator® and all of our courses meet or exceed the regulatory requirements. Our company also employs OSHA Outreach instructors who are authorized to teach the OSHA 10 and 30 hour construction courses. We are the pioneer of online health and safety training, the oldest online training company in this field, and have been in business since 1996. It just doesn't get any better than this. Please call us at 1.888.877.7130 to discuss your price match.
Or if you prefer, contact the U.S. OSHA Directorate of Enforcement Programs (DEP) in Washington, D.C., at 202.693.2190 and ask them any questions you may have.
Note: The enrollment of federal and state officials in our courses, or use of the OSHA logo does not constitute endorsement or approval. And one more time please, OSHA's policy is not to approve or endorse any training from any training provider.
Go to OSHA website for advertising restrictions on all other courses e.g., HAZWOPER.
OSHA Accepts our HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator®
In an interpretation letter dated February 4, 2009 OSHA stated that our exclusive HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator® is acceptable when used in conjunction with site specific training. Site specific hands-on training on the actual equipment an employee will be using is required for both online training and public seminar (open enrollment) classroom training. (If you thought you met the OSHA requirements by sending your employees offsite to a public seminar training class, please read the detailed explanation below). Employers can now train their employees online for the 40 or 24 hour HAZWOPER courses and then conduct site specific hands-on training on the actual equipment an employee will be using in their job.
