No Spyware Policy
At no time whatsoever does National Environmental Trainers®, Inc., collect any personal data about you or your usage patterns, nor do we install third-party software or access information on your hard drive. Since we do not collect personal data, there is no way - as in the case of 'spy ware' - to "traffic" or sell your personal information. We as a company find spy ware to be reprehensible and we are committed to protecting the privacy of all of our users.
The only thing we collect without your direct knowledge is your study time, quiz and exam scores. Along with other information that you provide when you register, this is all of the information collected. You must register or login to a course for us to collect any information. The information collected originates from our website and is stored in our database. We do not use tracking devices or any methods to install a program on your computer.
Any information that you provide resides in a database that is protected by several layers of security. Our website, database, and company computers are protected by major firewalls. All of our systems are monitored 24/7 by a third party for any unauthorized intrusion(s).
We value each and every one of our users and will continue to promote innovative, next generation training experiences without compromising our users’ safety, security or privacy. This website is a safe zone.
OSHA Accepts our HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator®
In an interpretation letter dated February 4, 2009 OSHA stated that our exclusive HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator® is acceptable when used in conjunction with site specific training. Site specific hands-on training on the actual equipment an employee will be using is required for both online training and public seminar (open enrollment) classroom training. (If you thought you met the OSHA requirements by sending your employees offsite to a public seminar training class, please read the detailed explanation below). Employers can now train their employees online for the 40 or 24 hour HAZWOPER courses and then conduct site specific hands-on training on the actual equipment an employee will be using in their job.
