Instructions

Welcome to the National Environmental Trainers training site. Listed below is some information that you may find useful during the training.

Your study time will be recorded. You can see the timer located at the lower right portion of the screen. Quizzes have been placed in the course in an effort to prepare you for the final exam. The final exam requires that you score 70% or better to pass and become re-certified to work at a HAZWOPER site. The final exam will be available to you after a minimum of 8 hours of study time.

Navigation

You may navigate to any portion of the course at anytime. There is a navigation bar located on the left side of the course along with "Next" and "Previous" buttons at the end of each module.

Certificates

Once you complete the course you will receive 3 certificates. An e-certificate will be emailed to you the same day that you complete the course. The other certificates (8 x 10 and wallet-card size) will follow in the mail. Once you successfully complete a course, you may download your e-certificate by going to your "My Home Page". Please click on "View All My Courses" and you see a status of your courses and a download link for your e-certificate.

FAQ's

Q. How Do I Logout?

To logout of the course, please click on the Exit Course button (located in the upper left side of the course navigation). Your location in the course and your study time will be saved in our database. Upon returning to the course, your study time will begin where it left off.

Q. How Do I Login?

To login to your course, simply click on the Course Login button (located at the upper left portion of the website). Next enter your username and password and this will take you to your "My Home Page". To enter the course, either click on the title of the course or directly under the title of the course "Continue Where I Left Off".

Q. What Study Time Increments Are Allowed for the Course?

Any time increments that you choose are allowed e.g., 5 minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours etc.

Q. How long are my username and password valid?

Your username and password are valid for 1 year.
