Question

My page says that my course timer has been stopped.

Solution

Please close all windows to our site and then go back and login again. This will correct the problem. This problem typically occurs when a student has more than 2 windows opened to our site.

Question

Can I login and logout when I want to.?

Solution

Yes, our courses are designed so that you may have optimum freedom. You can login and logout on your own schedule. The study timer and course contents will be saved to begin where you left off during your next session.

Question

It has been over a year since my last HAZWOPER refresher. Will I have to take the 40 hour HAZWOPER course again or can I still take a refresher.

Solution

This one is up to your employer. OSHA has written an interpretation letter on the subject and you can find it here. Essentially, if your employer believes you still have the requisite knowledge and skills to perform your job safely, then you can take a refresher. However, if this is not the case, you will have to take the 40 hour HAZWOPER course again.

Question

I forgot my password. How can I get it?

OSHA Accepts our HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator®

In an interpretation letter dated February 4, 2009 OSHA stated that our exclusive HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator® is acceptable when used in conjunction with site specific training. Site specific hands-on training on the actual equipment an employee will be using is required for both online training and public seminar (open enrollment) classroom training. (If you thought you met the OSHA requirements by sending your employees offsite to a public seminar training class, please read the detailed explanation below). Employers can now train their employees online for the 40 or 24 hour HAZWOPER courses and then conduct site specific hands-on training on the actual equipment an employee will be using in their job.
