How to Get HAZWOPER 40 Training
If you’ll be working around hazardous waste or materials, you may have been told you’ll need to get HAZWOPER 40 certified. But what exactly is HAZWOPER 40 certification and how do you go about getting it?
What is HAZWOPER 40?
“HAZWOPER 40” refers to the 40-hour training program designed for employees working in environments that carry a potential for exposure to hazardous substances at a level that is equal to or greater than the permissible exposure limit (PEL).
Individuals that might require HAZWOPER 40 training are those involved in the cleanup, treatment, storage, or disposal of hazardous substances, along with emergency response personnel.
How to Get HAZWOPER 40 Training?
It’s easy to sign up for HAZWOPER 40 training with National Environmental Trainers (NET). Simply register as an individual or sign up your entire group.
Once you register and pay, you’re ready to get started. NET’s HAZWOPER 40 is a self-paced course taught online, so you can work whenever and wherever you want from any internet-capable device. There is no software to download, and you may use different devices at different times throughout your training. Simply log in and continue right where you left off in your last session.
