Lockout/Tagout Training is required for all authorized and affected employees whenever there is a change in job assignments, operations, or procedures involving energy control procedures, in compliance with 1910.147.
The course is designed to help employers develop and implement an energy control program or lockout/tagout (LOTO) for employees in addition to performing service and maintenance actions on machinery and equipment.
NET Lockout/Tagout Training is not intended to be totally inclusive of the OSHA standard or alter that standard but rather to give employers a better understanding of that standard and its procedures. Employers are encouraged to obtain a copy of the OSHA standard and develop their own site-specific policies.

Lockout/Tagout Training is a 1-hour course involving a video rich with award-winning content and interactive animations. Students must complete a series of quizzes along with a final exam, allowing you to start and stop as needed.
The course counts as a CEU (Continuing Education Unit) accredited by the ABIH and BCSP. Students have access to the course for 180 days upon completing their registration.

General industry standard 29 CFR 1910.147. This standard covers the servicing and maintenance of machines and equipment in which their “unexpected” energization, start up or release of stored energy could cause injury to employees. Energy may consist of gravitational, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and kinetic.
