HAZWOPER Series

29 CFR 1910.120(e) – General Site Personnel

Take the web’s most authoritative 40 hour HAZWOPER training – featuring the OSHA accepted HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator®. This training is required for individuals who plan to work at a HAZWOPER Work Site. This is the most widely used 40 hour HAZWOPER training in the nation.

HAZWOPER refresher training is required for individuals in order to maintain their certification. This course covers broad issues pertaining to the hazard recognition at work sites.

29 CFR 1910.120(q) – Emergency Response Personnel

This HAZWOPER Incident Command course is designed to provide participants with an increased capability to assume the role of an Incident Commander during hazardous material response event; with specific emphasis on personnel safety and management of the HAZMAT scene.

29 CFR 1910.120(p) – RCRA TSD Operations Personnel

In compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (p) regulations, this training is required for individuals who plan to work in a area that is defined as a RCRA Treatment Storage or Disposal (TSD) facility. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion accepted by regulatory agencies.

This annual refresher training is required for individuals already certified to work in a area that is defined as a RCRA Treatment Storage or Disposal (TSD) facility. OSHA requires annual refresher training for anyone certified under 29 CFR 1910.120 (p).


OSHA General Industry Series

OSHA 10-Hour training is recommended for all construction workers and required for many other types of workers. The OSHA 10 Equivalent course is designed to familiarize workers with OSHA standards as well as safety and health hazards. Employees who complete this course will be trained on the topics that the OSHA curricula recommends, but this course does not provide a DOL card.

OSHA 30-Hour training is recommended for all construction supervisors and required by many employers. It provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards than the 10-hour course. Employees who complete this course will be trained on the topics that the OSHA curricula recommends, but this course does not provide a DOL card.

This course has been designed to comply with Occupational Safety and Health Standards 1910.1030. This program discusses bloodborne diseases such as Aids, Hepatitis B virus (HBV), and Hepatitis C (HCV) virus, exposure controls, how universal precautions should be applied during emergency situations, housekeeping, PPE, work practice controls, cleanup of an accident site, and waste disposal.

In compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.101 regulations, this compressed gas cylinder safety training course addresses many of the hazards and safe working conditions for Compressed Gas Cylinder Safety.

In compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 regulations, Confined Space training is required for individuals who have a role with confined space entry. Training must be provided for these individuals at the start of their job assignment.

The basic goal of a Hazard Communication Program is to be sure employers and employees know about work hazards and how to protect themselves; this should help to reduce the incidence of chemical source illness and injuries. Protection under OSHA’s HAZCOM Standard (HCS) includes all workers exposed to hazardous chemicals in all industrial sectors.

Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas is a common hazard in the oil and gas industry. Upon completion of this H2S training, employees will demonstrate knowledge of the sources of hydrogen sulfide, its physical and chemical properties and effects on the body, hydrogen sulfide exposure controls and exposure response.

OSHA Construction Series

In compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.650 subpart P regulations, this excavation training is required for workers and supervisors who work in trenches and excavations. OSHA requires that at least one person be trained as a competent person for excavation sites.

Course topics include principles of fall protection, components and limitations of fall arrest systems, the OSHA fall protection training standards, fall protection systems, selection of fall protection measures, and inspection and maintenance of fall protection systems.

In compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.400 subpart K regulations, this electrical safety training is required for construction workers and supervisors who work with electrical components. This course teaches employees to safely use ladders in construction settings. Working on and around stairways and ladders is hazardous. Stairways and ladders are major sources of injuries and fatalities among construction workers for example, and many of the injuries are serious enough to require time off the job.


RCRA Hazardous Waste & DOT HAZMAT Transportation

In compliance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation 49 CFR 172.704, this training is for individuals who handle, manage, transport, or ship hazardous materials/waste. This includes employees who load, unload, and handle hazardous materials; select, mark, label, or modify containers or packaging; prepare materials for shipping; prepare shipping papers; are responsible for the safety of hazardous materials during shipment; and vehicle operators.

$170 per person
In compliance with U.S. EPA regulations, this RCRA training is for individuals who deal with or manage hazardous waste. This training must be provided for these employees at the start of their job and on an annual basis.

HAZMAT Specialists are those persons who respond to releases or potential releases of hazardous materials for the purpose of controlling the release. They are more aggressive than first responders at the operations level in that they will approach the point of release to plug, patch, or otherwise stop the release of a hazardous materials substance.

The Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Technician annual refresher training was developed for those professionals certified as a HAZMAT Technician. HAZMAT Technicians must renew their certification on an annual basis. This course provides re-certification based on a set of competencies.
